Viking Kite ELT — One class. Four ways in.

One class. Four ways in. Different English levels. Shared, age-appropriate ideas.

An older beginner needs simpler English, without being sent back to younger content. Viking Kite ELT keeps the ideas relevant, while changing the language demand.

Take Flying. In the Blue version: Down there I have jobs to do. I have homework.

In Red: Down there I have jobs to do, assignments to complete, people who need things from me and people who want to tell me what to do.

Different language. The same question: what would you leave behind if you could fly? One discussion, with room for everyone. Teachers keep a shared lesson.

From Andy Coombs, lead author of Good Stuff Gold. Liber calls it our most appreciated English teaching resource of all time.

The publishing plan: seven year groups, seven themes per year, four levels of complexity.

Existing texts, teaching activities, audio and film provide material for editorial selection.

The proof / Flying

Simpler English.
The same age-appropriate ideas.

An older beginner can need language support and still want something worth thinking about. Here, four versions of one imagined flight give the whole class a way into the conversation.
